Course Description

In this two day course, students will learn every step involved in the art of making a pair of custom fitted, hand-stitched leather gloves. The hand stitched method is practiced by only a few glove manufacturers worldwide. Students will start by choosing their leather skin, stretching and cutting it into sections. Each component of the gloves will be cut out by hand, and tailored to fit, after which the gloves will be hand stitched using a sharp glover's needle and thread. Finally, each glove will be cuffed, lined and finished, ready for wear.
